Amy is the recipient of a whole new set of DNA, a new blood type and a new lease on life!
On 7/16/05, Amy had a bone marrow transplant  from an anonymous 10/10 HLA match.
She had the bone marrow transplant to cure her of Diamond Blackfan Anemia, which
required her to have 2 units of blood transfused every 3 weeks.  She also needed a nightly
infusion of a medication to remove the overloaded iron from her liver.  She's now doing
pretty good for 7 days post-transplant!  Please keep Amy in your prayers!
Also Pray for Katie T. She is on the road to transplant recovery!
